A bridal appointment at Millia London is a private session of 1.5 hours with the Head Designer, for the bride and up to 3 guests, with a glass of bubbles served on arrival. The designer guides the bride through the signature silhouettes in both the couture and the ready-to-wear collections, and selected gowns can be tried on. Appointments are booked through the brand's website for a £30 fee, and the concierge team answers questions ahead of booking by WhatsApp or by email.

Couture, ready-to-wear and how the gowns are made

Millia London publishes its prices openly: bridal couture runs from £5,000 to £12,000 and ready-to-wear from £750 to £3,500. Every gown is made to order and handcrafted in the United Kingdom, from the first sketch through hand-cutting, draping and appliqué to the final finishing, in premium couture tulles lined with either nude stretch lining or 100% silk satin. Production usually takes 3 to 6 months from purchase, and the house often accepts rush orders for an additional fee. Alongside the wedding gowns it makes tulle veils with hand-pressed silk petals and a made-to-order evening collection.

The collections are also sold through stockists in Tokyo, Seoul and Petaling Jaya in Malaysia, and the house has held appointment-only trunk shows in New York and Los Angeles.
