British Artist Danny O’Connor Brings Awakened Dreams to Nobu Hotel

LONDON, 10 July 2026. The Eclectic Gallery, in collaboration with Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, will present an exclusive evening with British contemporary artist Danny O’Connor on Thursday 13 August 2026, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm, celebrating Awakened Dreams, his solo show staged within The White Box at the hotel, 22 Portman Square, London W1H 7BG.

The evening opens with an intimate Q&A session, in which guests can hear O’Connor discuss his creative journey, artistic influences, collaborations and future projects, followed by a live painting demonstration in which the artist will work in real time, offering a rare view of his process from gesture and movement through to texture, colour and composition. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the artist in person over the course of the evening.

O’Connor is known for hyper-stylised paintings that merge portraiture, figures, animals, abstract textures and vivid detail into dreamlike, deeply atmospheric works, drawing on graffiti, German Expressionism, street culture and the layered complexity of human identity. His portfolio includes collaborations and bespoke commissions for Hard Rock Hotel, Ellesse, Dirty Martini Cocktail Bars, Yum Cha restaurants, Everton FC and V Starr Interiors, the design studio founded by Venus Williams, alongside artwork created for New York Times bestselling authors Colleen Hoover, for her novel Confess, and Tarryn Fisher, work that has introduced his painting to an international readership.

Set within the elegant surroundings of Nobu Hotel London Portman Square in the heart of Marylebone, the evening promises inspiration, conversation and a close encounter with one of Britain’s most recognisable contemporary artists.
