Spring 2026 has been one of the busiest seasons Marylebone has seen in years. From an Italian fashion house choosing the neighbourhood for its very first London store to a landmark restaurant address coming back to life, the High Street and its side streets have welcomed a fresh wave of arrivals. Here is our roundup of the latest boutiques, flagships and restaurants to open their doors, with links to our full coverage where we have it. We keep this guide current, so it reflects who has just arrived and who is on the way.
Retail and flagship stores
Marylebone continues to attract brands looking for a home in one of London's most characterful shopping districts, and this season the pull has been stronger than ever. The headline arrival is Marella. The contemporary Italian label, part of the Max Mara Fashion Group, chose 8 Marylebone High Street for its first standalone store in the United Kingdom, opening the roughly 1,410 square foot boutique with an in-store event on 28 April 2026. The design leans on the brand's signature Nude Pink and a neutral, skin-tone palette, and the London debut follows recent openings in Paris and Munich.
American quiet-luxury label Vince picked the street for its first European flagship, a 2,300 square foot space across two floors at 87 Marylebone High Street that carries the brand's widest UK offer, from womenswear on the ground floor to its full menswear collection. Just along the High Street, ME+EM opened the store that became the British label's official flagship, a 3,826 square foot former bank at 4-5 Marylebone High Street that is now the largest of its UK shops.
French favourite Sezane reshaped village retail with L'Appartement at 29 Marylebone High Street, its London flagship. Outdoor specialist Sealskinz brought its waterproof gear to a two-floor store on Hinde Street, its first permanent shop anywhere. And in the Marylebone Square development, ethical jeweller Lily Arkwright opened its largest showroom to date at 5 Aybrook Street, adding a new sparkle to the neighbourhood with its lab-grown diamonds, moissanite and coloured gemstones.
Restaurants and food
Marylebone's dining scene has kept pace with its shops. The season's most talked-about return is Orrery, the first-floor restaurant at 55 Marylebone High Street, which has reopened under chef Pierre Minotti. Minotti, who previously cooked at the two-Michelin-starred Alex Dilling at Hotel Cafe Royal, describes the kitchen as classical French technique guided by the rhythm of the British seasons.
There is modern Greek cooking arriving too. Clio, on Chiltern Street, is led by chef Louis Korovilas, whose kitchens include Pied a Terre, Bancone and Locanda Locatelli. Both join Lita, the Mediterranean live-fire restaurant that has become a favourite for London's food lovers and now holds a Michelin star in the 2026 guide. Still to come this year
The pipeline does not stop with spring. The Pachamama Group is bringing Soraya, a Persian restaurant, to the Loxton Walk development, with room for close to 200 diners when it opens in August 2026. Mediterranean newcomer Mour is set to launch at The Leonard hotel with a hidden courtyard and a martini bar, and a second Persian arrival, Naroon, is planned for New Cavendish Street. It is worth checking back as each confirms its opening.
The bigger picture
These openings say something about the neighbourhood. Brands and independents alike keep choosing Marylebone because its village character, loyal local audience and steady footfall make it one of the most resilient corners of central London retail. That resilience is why a Max Mara label picks it for a UK debut and why a landmark address like Orrery draws a new chef.
