Clarke's Mews is a cobbled cul-de-sac in W1G, entered from Beaumont Street and connected by a pedestrian passage to Dunstable Mews. It sits within the Howard de Walden Estate, between the Harley Street Conservation Area and Upper Wimpole Street. The mews was built as coach house and stable accommodation for the principal properties on Beaumont Street, a function that ended long ago. The four properties are now entirely residential: two-storey painted brickwork buildings with parapet-hidden roofs and the original cobbled surface underfoot. The mews was named after William Clarke, an 18th-century local landowner.
