David Mews is a cobbled cul-de-sac off Porter Street in W1U, within the Portman Estate Conservation Area. It runs roughly north to south and contains six properties, predominantly used for commercial purposes including serviced offices. The three-storey brick buildings carry a mix of mansard and gable roof styles. A high-explosive bomb fell nearby on Baker Street during the Blitz between 1940 and 1941, though the mews itself survived. Today it remains a quiet, small-scale working mews rather than a fully residential enclave.
