Duke's Mews is a short mews street on the Portman Estate in W1U, lying between Duke Street and Fitzhardinge Street. It appears on Richard Horwood's 1799 map of London as a Stable Yard, and had been formally named Duke's Mews by Peter Potter's 1832 parish map, apparently following the establishment of a pub on the corner. The south side retains a pair of listed terraced townhouses dating from around 1776 to 1788, built during the estate's first phase of development. The remainder of the mews has been largely rebuilt and is now a mix of residential and commercial use.
