Easleys Mews is a small mews street in the W1U postal district of Marylebone, situated within the Portman Estate. Like the surrounding back lanes, it developed as service accommodation for the Georgian and early Victorian terraces built when the Portman family laid out this part of Marylebone from the 1760s onward. The mews is modest in scale and now primarily residential in character. It sits within a dense grid of streets bounded by Baker Street, Oxford Street, Edgware Road and Marylebone Road, in an area where the Portman Estate continues to own and manage the majority of the freehold land.
