Jason's Court
Jason's Court is a short passage off Wigmore Street in W1U, running south into the block between Wigmore Street and Marylebone Lane. It sits within the Howard de Walden Estate: the estate redeveloped the corner building at 74 Wigmore Street and Jason's Court in 2011, delivering offices behind a retained street facade with a contemporary entrance onto the court. The ground-floor units have housed restaurants and bars, including a Lebanese restaurant and later a wine bar with late-night dining. The court itself is plain and functional, with none of the period character found in nearby alleys. There is no verified historical record of how it acquired the name Jason.
