Montagu Mews North
Montagu Mews North is a cobbled through road running between Montagu Place and Crawford Street in W1H, parallel to Clay Street and opposite Gloucester Place Mews. It sits within the Portman Estate Conservation Area, on land that has been in the Portman family since the sixteenth century. The mews contains around 21 properties, a mix of two and three-storey painted brickwork buildings with mansard roofs, some used for commercial purposes. It lies just north of Montagu Square and is one of several mews streets in this part of the estate that retain their cobbled surfaces.
