Wyndham Yard
Wyndham Yard is a small residential cul-de-sac off Wyndham Place in W1H, within the Portman Estate Conservation Area and a short walk from Baker Street station. The yard contains a handful of mews-style houses that have been extensively renovated; at least one property was converted from a live/work unit to a full residential dwelling by a London architectural practice. The scale is intimate and the street has no through traffic. Like most of the Wyndham cluster of streets, it takes its name from the Wyndham family association with the Portman Estate's historic landholdings in this part of Marylebone.
