As a third generation doctor from a family trained at University College Dublin, he brings over 20 years of clinical experience in general practice and aesthetic medicine, having built successful clinics in London and Melbourne. His Marylebone clinic, operated through Dr Michael O'Gorman Ltd, has been CQC registered and providing care in the area since 2025, giving local residents access to specialist support in the Harley Street medical district. Each visit begins with a detailed consultation that feels more like a conversation, with time given to medical history, lifestyle and goals so that patients feel heard and never rushed. From the first enquiry, patients can expect clear information, transparent pricing and advice that prioritises long term health as well as appearance. This calm, professional rhythm helps patients feel part of a long term partnership with their doctor. Aesthetic medicine, wellness and private GP care At the Marylebone clinic, patients work directly with Dr Michael O'Gorman for treatments ranging from anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers to regenerative PRP facials, health optimisation assessments and discreet support for male and female sexual wellness. As an aesthetic doctor and private GP, he combines evidence based protocols with a careful artistic eye so that results look subtle, proportionate and age appropriate. The clinic’s reputation is strengthened by consistently high ratings on independent review platforms and many returning patients who value continuity and a doctor led approach. Qualifications in advanced aesthetic medicine, Royal College and Royal Australian College general practice training and CQC registration help patients feel confident they are in safe, regulated hands. Located in one of London’s most characterful neighbourhoods, close to independent shops, galleries and cafés, the clinic appeals to Marylebone residents, professionals and international visitors who want expert medical aesthetics in a welcoming, neighbourhood setting rather than a high street chain.

All About

Wigmore Street

Wigmore Street runs east to west across the southern edge of Marylebone, linking Cavendish Square at its eastern end to Marylebone Lane in the west, within the W1U postal district. It was predominantly developed between 1730 and 1760 as part of the Cavendish-Harley Estate, the grid of streets laid out by surveyor John Prince for the Earl of Oxford and later continued under the Dukes of Portland. The street name derives from the Harleys' family connection to Wigmore Castle in Herefordshire.

Commerce arrived early. A drapers business was established at number 44 in 1778, the ancestor of what eventually became Debenham and Freebody, whose purpose-built department store opened on the street in 1908. The street also attracted piano manufacturers: Brinsmead and Sons occupied purpose-built showrooms at numbers 18 to 22 from 1892, and Bechstein opened its London showroom and the 550-seat Bechstein Hall at number 36 in 1901. During the First World War the German-owned Bechstein Hall was seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act in 1916, sold to the Debenhams group and reopened as Wigmore Hall in 1917. It remains one of London's principal chamber music venues, hosting more than five hundred concerts each year and broadcasting weekly on BBC Radio 3.

Today the street carries a mix of retail, medical, and office uses. Georgian and Victorian facades sit alongside twentieth-century infill, with the built form varying considerably along its length. Wigmore Hall remains the street's most significant building and its most enduring cultural marker.
